We are currently on our Easter break from University, so unfortunately that means we aren't able to do our regular OOTD's! But we hope you still get something our of todays post. With all the hype over Mercede's Fashion Week in Sydney we have had our eyes glued to the runways and our Instagram feeds have been going crazy with amazing outfits for the up-and-coming season.
We wanted to bring you a post today on what we think are two incredible and unique ideas from a variety of designers and how you can translate them into your own wardrobe and make them work for you (and your budget!). Taking these trends we have broken them down into what to wear them with, how they can be styled and where you can purchase some of the pieces, or look-a-likes for a fraction of the price.
Monochrome Textures
One of our favourite designers - CAMEO - launched their new season styles on Tuesday and one of the main themes we saw was monochrome combined in with clashing textures and prints. As well CAMEO in all the perfect-ness that was Alex Perry's show we also saw his designs take on this trend. His collection played with panelling of colours and contrasting textures a lot more than print, but its obvious that black and white designs remain hot off the runway and a staple for this season.

Geometric Designs
Another of our favourite designers from the show is By Johnny. His line was focused around the trend of Geometric Designs. We also noticed similar geometric inspired designs from Bec & Bridge. This trend can be taken to any limit but we believe it is better to take pieces from this collection and mix them in with staple items.
