Little Bit of Leather

We are both fans of leather pieces so today we thought we would show you how we like to incorporate them into our everyday outfits :)

Hayley wears leather on leather paired with one of her favourite light weight jackets to break up the black. She wears a perforated leather top to add detail to the outfit. Hayley adds her cute new textured Dalmatian flats along with a black tote, gold accessories and a bright lip. Having a mostly neutral or black outfit gives you the opportunity to experiment with different shoes, jackets and accessories. 

Sophie also incorporates leather in her outfit through a mini-skirt and her new washed grey jacket which features leather sleeves. To add to the look Sophie partners her leather pieces with an amazing white and rose gold printed top, her favourite pony hair sliders and a gorgeous necklace which complements her top perfectly.

Sophie's Favourite Jewellery Pieces

My favourite pieces are a mix between everyday items I wear to work and just on a daily basis, and also gold glamourous items that add a little something to an outfit. A few of these items I have had for a loooong time, and some are more recent items. Hope you enjoy and get inspired to expand your collection!

Necklaces

These two are my go-to's! I love this first one because its antiqued gold with Swarovski crystals, it adds so much sparkle to a look and is easily worn all year round. The second one is my everyday necklace, I've had this baby for around 4 years now and I still adore it (I am also in the process of saving for a gold one!)

Wristwear

These pieces often make it in to my OOTD - especially my watch which is probably my favourite all of the items I am showing. I also love my new Cartier inspired bracelets in three tones, these are perfect and match every single thing I own. Ive also chosen to include my Pandora collection, I typically wear these on an everyday basis. They are a great investment and you can customise them to your own preferences :)

Earrings

These are my two favourite pairs of earrings. I rarely wear earrings, so when I do I want them to be the statement piece. These two are gorgeous and super sparkly.

Rings

The top three rings are constantly on my fingers. They are super delicate and perfect for everyday wear. If I'm not wearing these I will be wearing midi-rings - below are some of my favourite simple ones.

As you can see my favourites are all some form of gold!! 

I always opt for gold accessories particularly rose gold as I feel they can be added to any outfit to finish it off nicely. I am particularly obsessed with necklaces and rings and of course my watch, which never leaves my wrist.

Im lacking a bit in the earring department! I have so many but none that I love but these evil eyes are defiantly my fave.

Making Statement Jewellery Wearable

Today's post is really all about the jewellery! We wanted to show you all how to make statement pieces work - whether they are bracelets, rings or necklaces! We love these pieces from one of our favourite shops of lately 8 Other Reasons. We like to keep our prints and colours minimal with statement pieces to really make them the centre-piece of the outfit!

Hayley wear a long plain tee over a cute leather mini skirt and pairs these with her favorite cardigan for Autumn - this black textured Stussy one! She is wearing her slip-on tartan print shoes, for a causal and on-trend look. As for the jewellery Hayley is wearing a silver and rose gold chunky bracelet, with a dainty rose gold necklace and statement ring. This outfit is perfect for this season and brings in many trend without being 'over-the-top'.

Sophie is wearing an grey asymmetrical draped maxi dress with a cropped light demin jacket over top. She has paired this with her staple combat boots and everyday handbag for a relaxed and casual look. Sophie is wearing a statement necklace that features two large gems with a silver chain and rose gold detailing. Obsessed with this necklace and it will be perfect with a little black dress for nights out!
